Rexal FFF Racing Team heading to Zandvoort for the 2021 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Return
16th June 2021
Rexal FFF Racing Team continues its 2021 campaign in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe after the spectacular weekend performed at the Paul Ricard Circuit for second Round of the championship. Donovan and Luciano Privitelio will be once again together at the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO, trying their best to replicate the win in the Lamborghini Cup class clinched in Le Castellet.
Their next challenge is the recently renewed Zandvoort Circuit, in the Netherlands, where Round 3 will take place on 18-20 June. The Chinese squad will be back at the Dutch circuit after its last appearance during the triumphant 2019 season. The track is certainly a tricky one, especially in some parts like the newly designed last corner and its banking, and often is even more trickier due to the strong wind, which could also bring on the asphalt lots of sand from the oceanic beach nearby.
Luciano is also coming from a positive weekend in the Italian GT Championship, during which he had the chance to cover some more mileage under the eye of his driving coach for this season, former F1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi. Track action will start on Friday with the two free practice sessions, followed on Saturday morning by qualifying at 10:00. Race 1 will then go green in the afternoon at 16:00, while Race 2 will end the weekend on Sunday at 11:50.
Andrea Caldarelli, Team Principal Rexal FFF Racing Team
“Zandvoort is a beautiful and demanding track, we’re keen to show once again how competitive our car and drivers are, giving our best for this third round. Donovan and Luciano are improving at an impressive pace and they’re getting better and better after every session, also thanks to Vitantonio’s help, so I’m more than optimistic about the chances to see them again on the podium”.
