Nürburgring challenge awaits Rexal FFF Racing Team as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe resumes
31st August 2021
Rexal FFF Racing Team is ready to measure itself on another historic track during its 2021 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe campaign. The fifth round of the season will take place from 3rd to 5th September at the Nürburgring, where Donovan and Luciano Privitelio can continue their growth path at the wheel of the #8 Lamborghini Huracan.
The father and son crew will aim to get further valuable results in the gentlemen-oriented Lamborghini Cup class, coming from three consecutive podium finishes and a double fourth place in Spa-Francorchamps, the last stop before the summer break where they also experienced mixed weather and grip conditions.
Donovan and Luciano will enjoy again the valuable feedback and guidance from ex Formula 1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi, who serves as a driver coach for Rexal FFF Racing Team.
The weekend in Germany will start with two free practice sessions on Friday, at 11:30 and 15:40 respectively, while Saturday the Qualifying sessions at 10:55 and 11:25 will determine the grids for race 1 in the evening, at 15:55, and for race 2 on Sunday, with lights-off at 11.30.
Andrea Caldarelli, Team Principal Rexal FFF Racing Team
“Donovan and Luciano were able so far to progress at a constant rate, taking the most from the help of coach driver Tonio Liuzzi also in Spa, which was the hardest challenge of the year. They’re turning themselves into strong Lamborghini Cup class contenders, even for the win. Resuming the championship after the summer break, we’re looking forward to seeing them in action again at the Nürburgring, another demanding track featured in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo calendar”.
