ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM looks at Blancpain GT World Challenge Europa double finale

27th August 2019

ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM is ready to start the engines after the summer break for a very important back-to-back challenge, as the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe has ahead itself the two last rounds at Nurburgring and Hungaroring. The Chinese squad is ready to set his return to the sprint series of the Blancpain GT after the amazing maiden win at Misano and the Zandvoort’s podium in the previous rounds, as well to fight for the title. Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli, at the wheel of the #563 Lamborghini Huracan EVO GT3 have 53 points in the standings, just 8.5 behind the leaders and with still four races to go. The Overall trophy is not the only target for ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM, as car #519 driven by Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Phil Keen is leading by more than 10 points in the Pro-Am classification, with the squad in contention for the Teams’ title. As usual, there will be a third car in the Silver Cup competition, with Diego Menchaca and Taylor Proto set for revenge after the difficult last round in Spa-Francorchamps for the Endurance Cup.

Fu Songynang, ORANGE1 FFF Racing Team by ACM Team Owner
“This is going to be a very exciting season final for us. Although we already fought for and won many competitions, being contenders for such important honors like the Blancpain GT European title in our debut year is already a success for me. It doesn’t mean at all that we will not fight until the very end, the guys are really motivated, both the technical staff and the drivers. I think both Nürburgring and Hungaroring are two good tracks for our Lamborghini Huracan, even if other cars have shown to be very competitive everywhere. It will be a very tight finish of the season in the World Challenge Europe, but it will not be all, as the points scored in Germany and Hungary will be very important also towards the Overall Standings, which will be decided later in the year in Barcelona”.
